What are freight forwarders?

Companies who work in the business of exporting and importing goods use this service. Freight companies move freight and serve as an intermediary between clients and transportation services. Freight involves the movement of products, normally in very large amounts, to and from various destinations using multitudes of carriers, legalities and requirements. Freight companies also manage the logistics activities and planning for companies.

Another advantage of using freight services is that they handle the ancillary services that come with international shipping. Examples of these would be customs documentation and insurance clearance. They also provide other things like Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier.

How do I prevent delays and ensure smooth shipment processes?

You can do this by ensuring that all of the required documents are produced and delivered when needed and that they are also accurate. These are required for customs payments at banks and usually any errors, oversights and discrepancies can cause very long delays. To prevent this, all businesses, clients and customers should take this necessary precaution.

Do we ship vehicles internationally or handle household moves?

Yes, vehicles are covered under the list of things that we are permitted to freight. All documents are required to be kept handy at all times. For information about vehicle shipping, check out our list of services. We do cover household moves but we are not a moving company. We specialize, largely in international shipping and freight. Thus, we can help you to ship goods and your belongings to any destination but we do not help in loading.

Can cargo be released without an OB/L?

Yes, cargo can be released without an OB/L, but only under certain circumstances. In the event, you do not have an OB/L, you will have to obtain the permission from the supplier for cargo release in writing and hand this over to the concerned shipping agents in the origin ports or the office who is handling the cargo. The entire issue will have to be done with the supplier’s approval and all matters are to be fully discussed with them.
